These halters make great turnout halters. They run a bit large, so if your horse is in between sizes, go down a size. Pony size will fit a large pony, but no smaller. Also, the crownpiece seems to be a bit big, but a
hole punch takes care of this immediately. Hardware is brass plated. I have been using these as turnout halters
on my young horses, and they have held up beautifully. The color will bleed when they are new and get wet. Beware when bathing or turning
out in the rain. Where else can you get a leather halter for $15??
