Prestige Italia has a reputation of building saddles
that consider the comfort of the horse
along with the rider. This reputation is evident
in the new M.M.B., with a seat and
panels that maximize comfort for the
horse. The design places the saddle
in the perfect position on the horse’s
back, allowing maximum movement and
comfort for the horse’s back and
withers.
The tree shape is designed so that
riders sit comfortably without feeling
as if it is too wide or narrow.
This allows riders to ride in the
saddle with maximum contact to the
horse throughout the total length of
their thigh, all the way down to the
knee. The billets are positioned to
allow the rider to close their leg
without feeling the billets, further
allowing close contact to the horse
during jumping and flat work.
The M.M.B. saddle has medium sized
rear blocks that are placed a bit
further back than normal. These
blocks will give you additional
support and stability in critical
situations without interfering with
normal riding or jumping situations.
The front knee pads are ergonomically
designed, and are treated to become
more pliable with heat and friction.
As you ride, your knees will fit more
perfectly into the blocks. The panels
are thin and wide, maximizing comfort
and movement for the horse’s back.
The Premium Line: These saddles stand out because of the type of leather used. Obtained from animals that graze freely during rearing, this leather undergoes natural tanning and is processed to the highest standards, in the tradition of Prestige's products. The saddles are lined in smooth or printed leather and combine a suppleness characteristic of calfskin with toughness typical of leather. The leather on the flaps is 3.3 mm thick.

rides. Please inquire.
For the care of your Prestige leather, we recommend Prestige Leather Care Kit to keep the leather clean and very well conditioned.
Prestige saddle trees can be adjusted by certain authorized Prestige dealers. VTO is authorized to make
these adjustments. We can adjust a tree up or down by 2cm. We suggest that you test ride a saddle that we have
available in a tree size close to what you think that you will need. Then if we need to adjust a saddle that we
have in stock for you, we can do that. The charge for changing a saddle tree is non-refundable, but it is applicable
to the purchase of a new saddle. In other words, we don't charge you to adjust the tree on a new saddle if you purchase it.
But we do charge you for the adjustment if you do not purchase the saddle. Please call us at 800-506-5344 for
details on this program. We can also adjust the trees on any Prestige saddle, not just new saddles.
Note about tree sizes: The following is VTO's opinion: Prestige saddles are available in 3 seat sizes. The 16" fits like a 17".
The 17" fits like a 17.5" and is by far the most common size. The 18" fits like an 18". For tree sizes, 33cm and 34cm are
considered "medium". For a saddle that will be used on a variety of horses, 34cm seems to fit most horses very well. 32cm is for
a horse with withers and a medium to narrow back. It will fit the typical TB type horse well. We have rarely seen a horse that will
take a 31cm, and we have never fit a horse narrower than 31cm. 35cm is considered "wide". 36cm and 37cm are "extra wide" and we
have fit several horses for these sizes.
In addition to our test ride program, we also offer "loaner" saddles if you want to custom order a Prestige saddle. Custom saddles take 6-8 weeks. With a loaner saddle, you won't have to be without a Prestige saddle while you wait. Customizations include short or long flaps, extra Dees, different leather, extra forward, different color etc.
