Prestige Eventing Saddle 17" Lux Leather

Last one!  Prestige discontinued this saddle recently, disappointing us because it was our best-selling saddle for many years.  Our one remaining saddle has the premium Lux leather and latex panels.  The seat is 17", and we can adjust the tree to whatever size you need before shipping for trial.  This saddle is in NEW condition.

Made by La Selleria Italiana of smooth, naturally-tanned calfskin leather. Features formed panels, square cantle, medium seat depth, short billets, and medium adjustable velcro front and back blocks. A very correct and well balanced saddle. Helps keep you in position over the most difficult fences. Shorter flaps for riding with shorter stirrups. Appropriate for stadium and XC phases. Also a great jumper, foxhunter or trail saddle.

New! The Premium Line: With all the great features that have made the Eventing saddle a perennial best-seller, these saddles stand out because of the remarkably soft, supple, and durable leather used. Obtained from pasture-raised cattle, this leather undergoes natural tanning and is processed to the highest standards. This amazing leather combines the suppleness characteristic of calfskin with toughness of thick, full-grain leather. The leather on the flaps is 3.3 mm thick, and compares favorably with custom-made saddles costing much more. The Eventing Saddle with Premium Leather is $3,625 with latex foam panels.

Note about tree sizes: The following is VTO's opinion: Prestige saddles are available in 3 seat sizes. The 16" fits like a 17". The 17" fits like a 17.5" and is by far the most common size. The 18" fits like an 18". For tree sizes, 33cm and 34cm are considered "medium". For a saddle that will be used on a variety of horses, 34cm seems to fit most horses very well. 32cm is for a horse with withers and a medium to narrow back (think thoroughbred). It will fit the typical TB type horse well. We have rarely seen a horse that will take a 31cm, and we have fit very few narrower than 31cm. 35cm is considered "wide". 36cm and 37cm are "extra wide" and we have fit several horses for these sizes.
