Rodney Powell Elite Body Armour Measuring Instructions

This page has been designed to guide you in the correct way to measure yourself for a Rodney Powell body protector. Accurate measurements are required for the perfect fit and therefore we suggest you ask someone to assist you in taking these measurements. See photos for additional guidance.

  1. Chest (Measure all the way around body)
  2. Underbust (ladies only) (Measure all the way around body)
  3. Waist (This is measured at the narrowest point of your body, i.e. this will be the point where your torso hinges when you fold forward when in a standing position.) (Measure all the way around body)
  4. Back Length (This needs to be measured with you sitting on YOUR saddle in an upright but relaxed position. Measure from vertebrae C7, which is the prominent vertebrae at the base of your neck, to where your seat is touching the saddle. We will make the protector shorter to allow for a clearing from the saddle.)
  5. Waist at front over your shoulder to waist at back (You may find it easier to take this measurement accurately if you put a narrow belt around your waist. Drape a tape measure over your shoulder and measure from your waist at the front over the top of your shoulder to your waist at the back.)
  6. C7 to Waist (From vertebrae C7 to your waist at the back.)
  7. Height (From top of head to toe.)
