Acavallo Arena Alupro Safety Stirrup Iron

The Arena Alupro Safety Stirrup Iron from Acavallo gives your traditional safety iron quite an upgrade! Unique, stress-actuated locking and release mechanism located between the lower end of the outer, pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support plate/tread provide a release for your foot in the event that you become seperated from your horse to help prevent your foot from getting stuck in the iron. Easy and reliable one-click re-engagement of the stirrup locking and release mechanism once triggered allows you to hop right back on and try again. The stirrup bow is made from aluminum while the opening arm and stirrup pad are made from a special polyamide material.

This iron also creates a special spring effect. Due to its design and construction which is based on flexible polymers, the stirrup conveys a less rigid and much more comfortable feeling to the rider than with conventional products. The springing stirrup bow and foot support assembly is capable of effectively absorbing and compensating for short-term and sudden impacts exerted through the rider’s weight from the top, e. g. during posting, jumping or hacking. The springing stirrup bow and foot support assembly can provide relief for riders with foot problems, ankles, knees and hips.
