The contour pad is a great all-purpose pad because it fits a wide variety of saddles, such as close contact and dressage saddles. If the pad is too large for your saddle, it is simple to modify with a box cutter or other sharp blade so long as all alterations are curved, not in a sharp V (material may tear). This pad aids saddle slip issues more than the half pad since it has longer flaps and will provide more protection along the bars of the saddle where weight is concentrated while in jumping position. ThinLine Pads are different from any other pad because it incorporates an open-cell technology that moves shock, weight and heat laterally along the pad without compressing.
