Pick N Treat Horse Treat Plant

Deep in the bowels of the VTO Development Lab, our product engineers have once again outdone themselves.  Through the miracle of bioengineering, we have successfully combined genes from a multitude of plants to create a bush that produces ready-to-eat horse treats!

We took the genes from sugar cane, oats, flax, and cinnamon and - using a process nobody really understands - spliced them into a blueberry bush.  The result is something you simply cannot believe - a blueberry bush that produces delicious, nutritious, and copious quantities of treats you can spoil your horse with.  You'll never have to buy horse treats again!

We tested these on our own horses and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!  While safe for humans to eat, these are specifically designed for the equine palate. Somewhat mealy and densely sweet, you probably won't be snacking on them, but your horses will crave them.

Plants are delivered as 8-12 week-old starts.  Plant in sandy to loamy soil in full sun (the south side of your house or barn would be ideal).  Needs plenty of water to get established, but afterwards is drought and pest resistant.  After one year you'll get a small crop.  From year two onward you should have more treats than you know what to do with. Bears heavily in late spring with a consistent crop until first frost.  May bear treats year-round in subtropical climates.
